Performance baselines, alerting, and capacity planning keep your network ahead of problems.

Built to run without you.

The best network is the one nobody notices. It’s fast, it’s reliable, and it doesn’t require your attention. That’s what we build.

We standardize on commercial-grade UniFi infrastructure across all managed clients. One platform means deep expertise, fast troubleshooting, and consistent management across every site we support. No patchwork of consumer routers and unmanaged switches.

Every network starts with a proper design: floor plans, wireless heat mapping, cable runs, VLAN topology, and firewall rules documented before a single piece of hardware ships. This isn’t over-engineering. It’s the minimum standard for a network that won’t cause you problems.

VLAN segmentation is deployed by default. Guest WiFi doesn’t touch your business systems. IoT devices sit on their own network. VoIP traffic gets QoS priority. These aren’t corporate luxuries. They’re basic hygiene that most SMB networks lack, and essential to managed security.

For remote and satellite-connected sites, we extend the same managed network architecture over Starlink and other satellite links. Bandwidth shaping, per-device fair-use policies, billing plan optimisation, and auto top-up controls ensure that a constrained connection delivers predictable performance at a predictable cost. Every remote site is monitored and managed identically to an in-town office. Learn how we manage Starlink deployments.

Once deployed, every network is monitored continuously. We set performance baselines, track utilization trends, and plan capacity upgrades before bandwidth becomes a bottleneck. Switch failures, access point issues, and WAN outages trigger alerts to our team, not yours.

What’s included in network management.

01
Site Surveys

Wireless heat mapping, floor plan analysis, and cable path planning before any hardware is ordered.

02
VLAN Segmentation

Proper network isolation between business systems, guest access, IoT, VoIP, and management traffic.

03
Firewall Management

Stateful inspection, geo-blocking, IDS/IPS, and rule sets maintained and audited on a regular schedule.

04
WiFi Coverage

Commercial access points with centralized management, seamless roaming, and band steering.

05
Performance Monitoring

Real-time dashboards, utilization baselines, and capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks.

06
Remote Site Connectivity

Starlink deployment and management, bandwidth shaping, billing optimisation, and cost controls for satellite-connected communities and work camps.

Frequently asked questions.

Business-grade switches and access points typically have a five to seven year lifecycle before they fall out of vendor support and stop receiving firmware updates. We track hardware age across every managed site and include replacement planning in quarterly business reviews so you are never running unsupported equipment without knowing it.

VLAN segmentation divides your physical network into isolated virtual networks. This means your point-of-sale terminals, security cameras, guest Wi-Fi, and workstations each operate on their own segment. If a device on one segment is compromised, the attacker cannot move laterally to your business-critical systems. It is a foundational CIS Control and a requirement for most cyber insurance policies.

Yes. We manage multi-site networks across Northern BC, including remote offices, work camps, and satellite locations. Every site gets the same monitoring, segmentation, and security standards through cloud-managed infrastructure. Site-to-site connectivity is handled through secure tunnels with centralised policy management.

Consumer routers and access points lack VLAN support, centralised management, firmware update policies, and the throughput needed for business workloads. Business-grade equipment from vendors like Ubiquiti provides network segmentation, remote monitoring, PoE for access points and cameras, and hardware warranties backed by commercial support. The upfront cost difference is modest but the reliability and security gap is significant.
