Business Continuity

Your business recovers in minutes, not days.

Backups alone are not enough. We deliver full business continuity: hourly image-based snapshots, daily verified recovery, and instant virtualization that gets your systems running again in minutes. Every recovery point is a complete, bootable system. Near-continuous M365 backup. All data stays in Canada.

Virtualize in seconds
When disaster strikes, your server is virtualized instantly from its latest image. No rebuilding, no waiting. Average recovery under six minutes.
M365
Cloud is not backup
M365, Google Workspace, and Dropbox are not backed up by default. We provide independent, near-continuous backup to Canadian-only cloud.

Proven every day
Every server is automatically booted from its backup image and screenshot-verified daily. Recovery is proven before you ever need it.

Backups are not enough. Business continuity is the standard.

Every backup provider can take a snapshot. The question is whether your business can actually recover from it, and how fast. We don’t sell backup. We deliver business continuity.

Every hour, we capture complete image-based snapshots of your servers: operating system, applications, configurations, and data. Every single snapshot is a full, bootable recovery point. When disaster strikes, your server is instantly virtualized from that image, either locally or in the cloud. No rebuilding, no reinstalling, no waiting for restores to finish. Average recovery time is under six minutes. Your team is back to work while traditional backup providers are still calculating how long the restore will take.

Built-in ransomware detection uses machine learning to analyse backup data for anomalies, alerting us before encrypted or corrupted data propagates through your recovery chain. Combined with immutable cloud storage that cannot be altered or deleted by attackers, your recovery points remain clean even during an active breach. Backup frequency scales down to five-minute increments for critical systems, giving you granular recovery options when every minute of data matters.

Cloud services like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Dropbox are not backed up by default. They provide redundant, resilient storage, but your data is not replicated outside of those environments. If a user deletes a file past the retention window, if ransomware encrypts a OneDrive, if an admin wipes a SharePoint site, the cloud provider cannot recover it for you. That is not a failure on their part. It is the shared responsibility model: they protect the infrastructure, you protect the data.

We close that gap. Microsoft 365 data gets its own independent, near-continuous backup pipeline. Exchange mailboxes, OneDrive files, SharePoint sites, and Teams data are all protected separately and replicated to Canadian-only cloud infrastructure that is completely independent of Microsoft. Point-in-time recovery means we can restore a single email, a single file, or an entire site from any point in retention.

Every backup is stored in Canadian data centres. Your backup data remains within Canadian infrastructure. For businesses subject to PIPEDA, BC PIPA, or clients with data residency requirements, this isn’t optional. It’s a compliance requirement.

Daily automated boot verification is where we separate from every other provider. Every day, every backed-up server is automatically booted from its latest image and screenshot-verified as bootable. Not monthly. Not manually. Every single day. We don’t just check that backups completed. We prove they recover. When you need it for real, there are no surprises.

What’s included in business continuity.

01
Instant Virtualization

Failed servers are virtualized from the latest verified image. Average virtualization time under six minutes, locally or in the cloud. Full business recovery timelines depend on the scope of the incident and are defined in your service agreement.

02
Daily Screenshot Verification

Every server is automatically booted from its backup image and screenshot-verified daily. Recovery is proven before you ever need it.

03
Ransomware Detection

Machine learning analyses backup data for encryption anomalies. Immutable cloud storage ensures recovery points cannot be altered or deleted by attackers.

04
Near-Continuous M365 Backup

Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams backed up near-continuously to independent Canadian-only cloud infrastructure.

05
Canadian Data Residency

All backup data stored in Canadian data centres. Designed to meet PIPEDA and BC PIPA data residency requirements.

06
Granular Recovery

Backup frequency scales to five-minute increments for critical systems. File-level, application-level, or full server recovery from any point in retention.

Frequently asked questions.

Backup is a copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the plan and infrastructure that gets your business running again when something goes wrong. A backup alone does not help if you have no tested process for restoring systems, no defined recovery time objectives, and no way to verify that your backups are actually working. We deliver both: verified backups with a documented, tested recovery plan.

With our managed backup and disaster recovery service, most failures including ransomware can be recovered within minutes through instant virtualisation of your servers from the backup appliance. The only scenario that takes hours is a complete building loss, where we spin up your environment from our offsite cloud replica. We maintain immutable backups that ransomware cannot encrypt, test recovery procedures regularly, and document recovery runbooks so the process is predictable under pressure.

No. Microsoft’s shared responsibility model means they keep the platform running but you are responsible for your data. If an employee permanently deletes files, a retention policy expires, or an attacker wipes a mailbox, Microsoft will not recover it for you. We include dedicated M365 backup covering Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams data with point-in-time recovery.

Backup data is stored in geographically redundant Canadian data centres, meeting PIPEDA and BC PIPA data residency requirements. We use a combination of local appliance snapshots for fast recovery and cloud-replicated copies for disaster scenarios. All backup data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
